A Little Company That Grew
In 1983, GPS Distribution began delivering the Globe and Mail to several variety stores in west Hamilton and Dundas, Ontario. We knew that service was important, both to the publisher whose product we represented, and to the retailer who provided the venue to sell the newspaper.
It wasn't long before our reputation for service became noticed. The Globe and Mail expanded our trading area to include Fort Erie, then Niagara Falls, and eventually the entire Niagara Peninsula. ( We now also do daily subscription deliveries to over 2,500 homes in the Hamilton region.)
Other publishers both in Canada and the United States contacted us, and today we proudly represent in excess of 70 different titles from around the world, to more than 325 retailers within Hamilton and the Niagara region.
In 1995, we began exporting Canadian publications for distribution to New York State, and in 1999, we expanded our exports to Florida.
Service is still the key to our success. Whether you are a subscriber receiving daily delivery to your door, a retailer supplying newspapers for your customers, or a publisher wanting to expand your circulation, we can supply the highest quality of service available.
